🍳 Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 3–4 lbs pork butt roast
- Pork seasoning (to coat)
- 1½ cups chicken or vegetable broth
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 3 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the pork into 4 large pieces and trim away as much fat as possible.
- Coat all sides of the pork generously with seasoning.
- Set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode. Add olive oil and sear the pork for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- Add the broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke.
- Seal the lid and pressure cook for 60 minutes.
- Allow pressure to release naturally for about 15 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
- Shred the pork with two forks right in the pot and toss with the juices. Serve on buns or over rice.
